Happy Sunday Selfie!
The first month of this new year is about to come to an end. So, let's reflect on what you've accomplished this first month.
Has it been working out regularly? Starting a new class, a new job? Learning to play an instrument? Spending more time with family and friends? Let's hear it!
Here are a few things I've accomplished this first month of 2017:
- Read a book: Crush It! by Gary Vaynerchuck. This was a great book to start the year off with, although it is business centric, there a good key points just about you and your life. Biggest take away, your personal brand and your DNA. A lot of people don't realize it, but you are building your personal brand every day. Anyone you come into contact with has an impression of you. That is impression is your personal brand. Your DNA is what your passionate about and making that passion a reality. It's a good read and I recommend it!
Next on the list to read: Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs! #mcarareads
- Set up my studio (...again!) Stay tuned for my new studio tour coming soon. You can see a bit of it in the background of this week's selfie! It's more inviting and as spacious as I could get a small bedroom!
- Spending more quality time with my husband (and our pup)! I must say, making time to go on dates (a real date, dressed up, at a nice restaurant...even when you're married) is so important. IT gives you a chance to learn more about one another, build your communication and grow your love. Going out to eat is one thing, going on a date is another. Plan fun outings! It doesn't have to be expensive but go experience things together. We went to our first NHL hockey game!
So, not too shabby for the first month of the year! How has this new year treated you?! Leave some comments below!
